Content Marketing Executive: SEO Content Marketing

Overview:

This role sits within the Marketing & Design Division and is an essential commercial function to drive growth for the business.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing high quality, compelling written assets for a wide variety of audiences, purposes and platforms. From email campaigns, social media and website pages, to brochures, banners and presentations, you will work closely with our analysts, designers, and fellow marketers to craft compelling visual narratives that resonate with our audiences and drive tangible results across the marketing funnel.

This role will be hybrid with 2-3 days in Benchmark’s London offices. You will report to the Brand Marketing Lead with oversight from the Senior Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Content creation

  • Proven experience as a content creator with a strong portfolio showcasing social media content, blogs, ads, brochures and website content.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand’s messaging.
  • Collaborate with the business to plan and execute content calendars.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate them into content strategies.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies including social media platforms, trends and best practices.

Marketing & email automation

  • Manage and optimise email marketing campaigns and newsletters to nurture leads, drive conversions, and increase customer retention.
  • Utilise CRM software to segment audiences, track campaign performance, and analyse data to inform decision-making.
  • Report on the success of marketing activity in our monthly report.
  • Identify marketing activity that requires improvement or a change in approach, and put forward suggestions.
  • Support with the upkeep of company CRM following campaign activity.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage and curate content for LinkedIn, X and BlueSky.
  • Schedule and publish posts, ensuring consistency in brand voice and visual style.
  • Analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies to optimise engagement and growth.
  • Update and maintain social ads via Meta Business Manager.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate trends, tactics and competitor activity that helps to inform the company marketing strategy.

Brand:

  • Align content with overarching brand strategy.
  • Produce copy and design briefs for marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital ads.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a cohesive look and feel.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar content marketing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools.
  • Experience of SEO content writing.
