Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining analytical solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong technical proficiency, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights. Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Perform data analysis using Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting and analytics deliverables.
- Support data workflows and process automations using tools such as Power Automate (preferred).
- Assist with data preparation, cleansing, validation, and documentation.
- Work with modern data stack tools—including Snowflake and, ideally, dbt—to help support robust and scalable analytics processes.
- Utilize Python for data manipulation or analytics tasks when needed (preferred).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data pipelines, data quality, and overall analytics infrastructure.
Required Qualifications - Demonstrated experience developing dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational or cloud-based databases.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses, ideally Snowflake.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of motivation and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with dbt (data build tool) for SQL-based data modeling and transformation.
- Experience with workflow automation tools, specifically Power Automate.
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis or automation tasks.
- Understanding of ETL processes, data modeling best practices, or data warehousing concepts.
