Video Editor & Motion Designer Overview We’re seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer who excels in editing, post-production, and motion graphics. This role brings stories to life through dynamic visuals, thoughtful pacing, and modern animation techniques. You’ll produce video assets that support campaigns, product launches, events, and brand content—always with a creative edge and a high bar for polish. (Strategic production, shoot logistics, and expanded producer duties are handled by agency partners and Carolina—this role is focused on edit, motion, and post.) What You’ll Do - Edit and deliver high-quality video content that strengthens our brand narrative across marketing, product, and event needs.
- Create motion graphics packages and animations (lower thirds, titles, transitions, UI callouts, light 2D animation) that elevate storytelling and reinforce brand.
- Build platform-ready versions and cutdowns (social formats, web, event screens, internal comms), ensuring correct specs, pacing, and performance.
- Color-correct, sound-design, mix audio, and finalize videos with consistent polish and attention to detail.
- Maintain organized project files, versioning, and export standards for efficient collaboration and future reuse.
- Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure cohesive storytelling, accurate messaging, and brand alignment.
- Use AI-based video tools to accelerate workflow (cleanup, enhancement, ideation, caption drafts) while applying human judgment and craft for final output.
- Support accessibility and distribution readiness (captions/subtitles when needed, safe areas, readability, compression standards).
What You Bring - Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects (or equivalent), plus comfort with modern post-production workflows.
- Motion graphics fundamentals—typography, timing, composition, transitions, and visual rhythm.
- Strong storytelling instincts: can shape narrative through pacing, music, and selective emphasis.
- Portfolio demonstrating crisp editing, effective motion design, and consistent visual polish.
- Excellent time management and reliability in a high-throughput environment.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and iterating through feedback with a solutions-first mindset.
