As a Community Events Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing our customer community together by planning and executing Kajabi’s event strategy. These events will be a mix of both digital and IRL (in real life) programming, including Kajabi’s annual tentpole customer event (Kajabi Hero Live), local meetups, and masterminds. Your goal will be to help customers connect, build relationships, and learn new ways to grow their business. This role is ideal for someone that is creative, detail-oriented, and strategic with a strong knack for collaborating with cross-functional teams. If hired, you’ll be a key member of Kajabi’s Community team and will report to our Sr. Manager, Community.

The Impact you will make

  • Event Planning and Management:
    • Lead in organizing and coordinating Kajabi Hero Live, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for attendees.
    • Plan and execute local meetups to foster community engagement and brand presence.
    • Launch and oversee the operations of a mastermind program, creating a valuable and enriching experience for Kajabi Heroes to network with one another in a high touch way.
    • Help coordinate employee onsite events, in partnership with our operations and people teams.
  • Budget management:
    • Help oversee vendor contracts for all live events hosted by Kajabi
    • Mange event P&L to ensure we are tracking on budget for all events
  • Event Marketing:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies for events.
    • Utilize various channels, including social media, email, and content marketing, to drive event attendance.
    • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to make data-driven improvements.
  • Post-Event Analysis:
    • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Prepare and present comprehensive event reports, including key performance indicators and areas for enhancement.
    • Collaborate with relevant teams to implement changes based on post-event analyses

Educational Allowances

Educational opportunities will be offered for the Community Events Manager at the discretion of the Director of Community & Partnerships and could include participating in a mentorship program, training to further specific career goals, books or digital content to supplement education and attendance at conferences areas of interest and impact for Kajabi’s overall goals and your desired career goals.

One-On-One Process

The Community Events Manager will meet weekly with the Sr Manager, Community to catch up and discuss their role. The goal of these meetings is to identify areas where the company and individuals can improve, what areas they’re needing more guidance on, and where the Kajabi leadership team can lend time or resources to help meet goals. It’s also a time to discuss specific expectations and discuss any areas of concern you may have about your job or your team.
