The Role:
We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic Director of Demand Generation to lead our marketing efforts in creating growth and engagement in the B2B cyber security landscape. This role requires experience designing and executing innovative demand generation campaigns that result in high-quality engagement across the buying committee to build new pipeline and revenue.
As Director of Demand Generation, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to shape Netcraft's marketing strategy. You'll have a meaningful impact in creating effective systems and campaigns, while supporting the sales and customer success teams to help achieve shared growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, and optimize integrated demand generation campaigns to achieve lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue goals across multiple channels, including website, digital advertising, marketing automation, content syndication, community sponsorships, and more
- Collaborate with functional heads, product marketing, and content marketing to define and deliver campaigns to create brand momentum, capture prospects with purchase intent, and convert to qualified sales opportunities
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to tailor strategies that position Netcraft at the forefront of external cyber security solutions
- Build near and long-term strategies for demand growth and carry a full bag to drive outcomes and commercial growth targets
- Leverage data-driven insights to monitor campaign performance, refine targeting strategies, and maximize ROI
- Coordinate with content and design teams to create compelling assets that resonate with our target audience and build brand awareness, including content, webinars, whitepapers, podcast, community engagement, and more
- Partner with sales and product teams to ensure alignment of messaging and strategies, ensuring a seamless lead handover process, managing core martech tools and systems
- Stay abreast of the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in demand generation, marketing ops, and digital marketing
- Manage the demand generation budget effectively, strategically allocating resources to maximize impact
To be Successful You’ll Need:
- Proven experience building demand generation programs in a B2B environment, preferably in the cyber security or technology industries
- Strong track record of creating and managing successful demand generation campaigns with measurable results
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive good decision-making and optimize performance
- Excellent people management skills, with experience recruiting and developing high-performing teams
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts across diverse teams including sales, marketing, product strategy, and customer success
- A proven record of creating effective marketing programs and messages that demonstrate creative thinking
- A data-driven mindset towards using significant business insights to guide decision making
- A strong work ethic, a good sense of humor, and a self-starting mentality
- BS/BA in Business, Marketing, English, or an equivalent degree
