Recruitment and People Manager - US
Netcraft
The company
Netcraft is the global leader in cybercrime detection and disruption. We’re a trusted partner for three of the four largest companies in the world, and many country governments. We’ve blocked more than 200 million malicious sites and perform takedowns for around one-third of the world’s phishing sites.
Our purpose, passion, and expertise are focused on just one thing: protecting the world from cybercrime.
Our passion doesn’t stop at what we do, either - it also shapes how we work. We’re proud of our talented team, our culture, and the value each person brings. That’s why we’ve created a workplace where people feel supported and inspired. From great benefits and wellness programs to fun social events - we've got you covered.
The role
We’re looking for a highly engaged and experienced Recruitment and People Manager to join Netcraft’s global People team. This will be a key role within the business, supporting a busy US hiring program and contributing to broader People initiatives globally.
Based at our Lehi, Utah office, you’ll be the go-to recruitment expert in the US, managing end-to-end hiring across multiple states and levels, while also providing some hands-on generalist HR support and being a trusted point of contact for US employees and managers.
Reporting to the UK-based VP of People, and supported by the Utah-based CFO, you’ll collaborate closely with local Leadership Team members, managers, as well as global People team colleagues. You'll also be managing a part-time Office Administrator and will have the opportunity to contribute to wider projects and initiatives. Domestic and international travel may be required occasionally.
The responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for US roles, from scoping and sourcing to offer and onboarding.
- Build and manage strong talent pipelines across a range of functions and seniority levels, particularly sales, account management, marketing, and solutions engineering.
- Work closely with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and advise on best practices and appropriate hiring processes for different levels of hire.
- Leverage your network and external channels to pro-actively source diverse, high-quality candidates, rather than passive advertising
- Partner with the Senior Talent Advisor (UK) and other key colleagues and stakeholders to ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
People Operations
- Take ownership of local people processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and documentation, with the support of the Utah Office Administrator.
- Support payroll, benefits, and compliance administration for US employees.
- Be a visible and trusted point of contact in the Lehi office for day-to-day employee and manager queries.
- Ensure all US HR practices remain compliant with relevant state and federal legislation.
Collaboration & Projects
- Work with international colleagues across the UK and Australia to support global People initiatives.
- Contribute to global People projects such as employer branding, employee engagement, ED&I, performance management, and system improvements.
- Support the development and implementation of consistent People policies and practices across the business.
- Collaborate with the local leadership team to create engaging regional company events such as summer socials, holiday parties, etc.
Management
- Manage and develop a part-time Utah Office Administrator, ensuring they are well equipped, motivated, and supported to carry out their role effectively.
- Meet Netcraft’s standard people management expectations such as twice-annual performance reviews and regular 1-1 meetings.
The Reward Package
We like to look after our people really well, so your compensation will include:
- Highly attractive base salary, reviewed annually
- 33 days’ vacation per annum (incl. public holidays), rising to 37 days with service
- Additional paid sick leave, compassionate leave, etc.
- Flexible and hybrid working options to support your personal life balance
- 401(k) Safe Harbor Plan, with employer-matched contributions up to 4%
- Generous private health cover with 10+ plan choices
- Enhanced paid family leave entitlements, incl. 52 weeks maternity/adoption leave and four weeks paternity leave
- Two paid Volunteering Days per year, plus paid time off to donate blood
- Two paid Personal Development Days per year and plenty of learning and development opportunities such as open access to Udemy and Coursera
- Free food and drinks provided in our offices
- Inclusive culture and environment, where you’ll feel genuinely valued and supported
What you'll need to be successful
- Proven extensive experience in end-to-end recruitment across the US - ideally in high-growth and/or Tech or SaaS environments - and across all levels, from entry-level roles to executives.
- Familiarity with hiring laws and HR practices across multiple US states.
- Experience or at least a strong interest in generalist HR such as onboarding, payroll, benefits, and employee relations and engagement
- Strong network and sourcing capability; confident using LinkedIn and other platforms to pro-actively attract talent.
- Collaborative, solution-focused and proactive mindset — comfortable working across multiple time zones with remote teams, and self-organising work
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
