The Role

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager (UK) you’ll be focused on ensuring the smooth operation of our London office, providing administrative support to enhance efficiency and the employee experience. You’ll work closely with your People team colleagues and collaborate with various departments and vendors to support day-to-day activities. Due to the nature of this role you will be required to be on-site 5 days a week.

This is what you’ll be doing, day to day

  • Provide front desk support to greet visitors and manage incoming enquiries ensuring that security measures are followed during the visit
  • Coordinating food orders for the London office, including the weekly Sainsbury’s deliveries, plus ad-hoc items. This will include stock control and and/or food wastage
  • Organising the London office storage cupboards, disposing of old/out of date items when needed, and insuring that everything is kept orderly and accessible
  • Ensuring the London meeting rooms, kitchen areas and reception area are always tidy and presentable
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence from London office, including post phone calls
    when required
  • Provide administrative support to the Bath office as required (ad hoc and holiday cover)
  • Support recruitment and onboarding activities, including scheduling interviews, booking meeting rooms, preparing workstations and coordinating first-week logistics and other People team processes as required
  • Assist with sourcing and distributing employee merchandise and welcome packs, in collaboration with the Global People Team
  • Supporting London-based events and activities, such as quarterly socials.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Prior experience in office administration or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and external contacts
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with HR or finance systems and concepts
  • Experience using Slack.
