Solutions Specialist (internal)

The Solutions Engineering department is looking for a new Solutions Specialist to join the team. If

Netcraft offices globally.

What is Solutions Engineering?

The Solutions Engineering department is part of the Commercial division.
We:

• Apply Netcraft’s products to solve our customers’ problems.

• Provide subject matter expertise on our services, configuration, and the problem domain.

• Identify and connect feature requests and improvements with internal teams.

The Solutions Engineering department supports the wider commercial team to secure and retain the tech win with new and existing Netcraft customers by researching and identifying the requirements of our customers and prospects and aligning these with the product solution.

What does a Solutions Specialist do?

The role of a Solutions Specialist primarily involves:

• Setting up and configuring Netcraft’s core cybercrime disruption services, both for POCs
  and contracted services. This involves researching and understanding customers’ brands, along with any specific requirements they may have.

• Handling requests relating to customer service configuration throughout the customer lifecycle.

• Assisting with customer onboarding, ensuring they have the information required to get up and running and get the most out of our services.

• Contributing to improving the processes within the team, ensuring we can deliver a consistently excellent customer experience.

Solutions Specialists utilise and develop both their technical understanding, as well as their communication and problem-solving skills. Individuals who value collaborating with Netcraft’s customers and seeing the impact of their work hands-on will enjoy this role.

Useful Background

Solutions Specialists work with several Netcraft systems day-to-day. You might be familiar with some of them, but we can help you learn what’s
needed for others.

Some background knowledge that you might find useful:

• A high-level familiarity with the types of cybercrime that Netcraft blocks, for example, phishing.

• A high-level appreciation for Regex, basic knowledge of
  HTML, Git, Linux Command Line
  and/or Elastic DSL may be useful from time-to-time. Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with these as we can help you use them as required.
