Support Engineer (Internal Only)

Classification & Countermeasures – Any UK Offices (Hybrid)

The Role

We’re seeking a Support Engineer to join the TNT team, whose primary responsibility is development and maintenance of the Takedown service. This role will increase both the engineering and support capacity of the team, allowing the team to move more quickly and provide a higher quality support experience to internal stakeholders across the business.

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development of the Takedown service, by working on well-defined and structured tasks with help and guidance from more senior
    team members
  • Participating in the team’s support rota, to answer questions and fix bugs
    encountered by internal stakeholders
  • Enhancing documentation around processes within the Takedown system, to improve the experience of both external and internal users
  • Helping to drive process improvements through automation and workflow optimisation

This position can be based in any of our Bath, London or Manchester offices.

To Be Successful, You’ll Need

  • A strong knowledge of the Takedown system and how it interacts with other
    Netcraft services
  • A strong ability in imperative programming
  • The ability to diagnose and resolve operational issues, and to know when to escalate problems to more experienced team members
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and strong intellectual and commercial curiosity
  • A positive, collaborative and diligent approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills with a high standard of written English, and the ability to engage with people in a friendly, helpful, and professional way
  • Self-motivation and an ability to work independently on longer term tasks
  • Strong prioritisation and self-organisation skills
