Overview

The Marketing Operations Lead will support the end-to-end management of our marketing processes and KPIs to improve the performance and efficiency of our marketing teams. This role will partner closely with stakeholders in Marketing, Business Development, and Sales Operations to identify ways to strategically drive incremental pipeline through data-driven recommendations, analytics, best practices, and efficient processes aligned to our marketing and organizational goals. Through rigorous data analysis, this role will also focus on maintaining marketing KPIs, reporting, and driving insights for the Marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Provides proactive, accurate, and prescriptive intelligence to the Marketing and Sales departments.
  • Supports and builds the roadmap for the marketing technology stack to support pipeline growth and marketing objectives.
  • Creates, maintains, and analyzes standard reports and dashboards to provide visibility to Marketing and Senior Leadership.
  • Maintains all marketing data and drive usage of current and future marketing technology.
  • Partners across Operations teams on marketing integrations with CRM (Salesforce) to ensure proper data flow from lead to sales qualified opportunities.
  • Builds and maintains global reporting and intelligence models to understand, inform, and drive marketing effectiveness throughout cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for marketing cadence packages for reporting and overall performance management.
  • Analyzes each stage of the marketing and sales funnel to optimize lead generation and provide areas for improvement.
  • Tracks and reports on marketing campaigns and lifecycle stages providing detailed and summary presentations for Leadership team.
  • Works closely with Vice President of Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales Leadership to provide status updates and report performance to goals.
  • Contributes to the marketing planning and budgeting related processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing analytics, or similar roles; preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo (or similar marketing automation tool) required; Experience with Bizible, Demandbase, PowerBI/Tableau preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, efficient with limited resources and information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with communicating upwards.
  • Entrepreneurial approach to solving ambiguous or complex problems.
  • Proven experience analyzing, organizing, and interpreting data for the design and implementation of strategic plans.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Skillful in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
