About the role: Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in financial fraud detection and claim abuse. Lead design and implementation of advanced analytics and ML solutions to combat evolving fraud schemes; deliver high-impact models, mentor team members, and influence strategy. Responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership (drive AI/ML roadmap, advise on threats), Advanced Modeling (architect/deploy models for recovery, behavioral analysis, predictive prevention; optimize for scale/real-time/low false positives), Data Innovation (new data sources, advanced features, research novel algorithms incl. graph analytics and deep learning), Collaboration & Influence (partner with Legal, Leadership, Engineering; communicate complex concepts), Mentorship, Governance & Compliance (adhere to OCC, PCI DSS, ethical AI). Required: 7+ years data science, 3+ in fraud/risk, ML frameworks (scikit-learn/TensorFlow/PyTorch), Python/SQL/Snowflake, payments/fraud typologies, production deployments/streaming. Preferred: graph databases/network analysis, AWS/MLOps, strong communication/leadership. Pay range: 175,000 – 250,000 USD per year (Remote).
