**This position will be located in India.
SavvyMoney is seeking a QA Engineer who will be a key contributor to our Salesforce
application testing process. We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively
within a mission-driven team, has a strong sense of ownership and can take initiative when
necessary, is focused on achieving impactful business goals, and has a desire to
continuously learn and develop new skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop the automation framework using Java and Selenium
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of the product
Engage with Product, Partnership and Engineering teams to vet requirements and
turn them into test plans - Communicate with offshore teams, participate in deployments and manage the
testing process for releases - Build and maintain automated test scripts using Salesforce testing tools and
frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, or other automation tools). - Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development
lifecycle. - Conduct regression, functional, performance, and load testing of Salesforce
applications. - Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives in an Agile
environment. - Analyze test results, report on defects, and provide recommendations for
improvement. - Ensure high-quality standards are met for all releases and deployments.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation and knowledge
sharing. - Ability to work under pressure, deadlines and navigate unexpected roadblocks with
ease
Experience
- 4+ years of experience in a client facing and / or technology focused role where
business experience and technical acumen was combined - Built and worked on Test Automation Frameworks and tools
- Experience with automation using Selenium, Kotlin/Java, Cucumber, RestAssured
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a focus on Salesforce application testing.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning).
- Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks for Salesforce applications.
- Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies and experience in Agile teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams and time zones.
- Flexibility to work hours that overlap with EU & US time zones for collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Proficient in Java, integrations with web services, REST APIs
- Basic SQL writing capabilities
- Expert analysis, troubleshooting, technical and non-technical communication skills
- Solid experience in debugging web applications
- Experience with test automation
Bonus Points
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or similar certifications.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) and integration of automated
tests. - Knowledge of Salesforce environment (Sandbox, Production) and deployment
processes.
