SavvyMoney was recently recognized by the San Francisco Business Times and the Silicon Valley Journal as one of the "Top 25 Places to Work in the San Francisco Bay Area" and is an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company.

**This position can be a hybrid work from our corporate offices in Dublin, CA a few days a week or for highly qualified candidates a 100% work remote from your home office in the USA position.

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our growing team and shape the definition and execution of technical product initiatives across our SaaS platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments, loves collaborating with engineering teams, and is passionate about translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements.

You’ll work closely with internal product managers, engineers, and integration teams to shape the foundation of our platform, which serves over 1,475 customers and integrates with numerous third-party systems. This isn’t a consumer-facing role—it’s about the infrastructure, scalability, and system-level functionality that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with engineering and product teams to define and document technical product requirements.
  • Own the roadmap and execution of backend platform features, APIs, and 3P system integrations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities in platform performance, reliability, and extensibility.
  • Translate business needs and product strategy into clear technical requirements and specifications.
  • Use tools such as personas and user story maps to frame product needs from both a technical and user perspective.
  • Break down complex requirements into detailed, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria to support smooth and efficient implementation by engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with integration partners to ensure seamless interoperability with third-party systems.
  • Drive platform-level projects through their full lifecycle—from discovery to delivery and post-launch optimization.
  • Provide technical context and prioritization input during product planning and sprint cycles.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a strong emphasis on technical products.
  • Solid understanding of modern software development processes and system architecture (you don’t need to code, but you do need to speak the language).
  • Proven ability to work with engineers to define and deliver platform-level features and improvements.
  • Experience in B2B2C SaaS environments with large, complex customer bases.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills—able to make the complex simple.
  • Experience working within a highly coordinated agile organization, including participation in Program Increment (PI) planning and delivering value through 2-week sprint release cycles.
  • Proficiency with product discovery and planning tools such as personas, user story mapping, prioritization and backlog refinement techniques.
  • Fintech experience is a plus, but not required.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with API-first platforms and 3rd-party integration ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with authentication/authorization, data pipelines, or other common SaaS infrastructure components.
  • Background in computer science, engineering, or a technical discipline.

Base salary

The annual base salary for this position is between $145,000.00 and $170,000.00, depending upon experience and geography.

Additionally we provide

  • Annual Bonus potential
  • Equity compensation package
  • Flexible Time Off Policy (Take time as you need it)
  • 401(k) with Employer contribution
  • Medical, Dental, Vision – 100% premium paid for employee
  • Opportunity for career growth and challenge
