Our corporate offices are in Dublin, CA and we offer a hybrid work environment with some days at the corporate office and some days working from home.

Position Overview

SavvyMoney is seeking a strategically minded VP, Data & Analytics to lead the evolution of our data capabilities and analytics-driven products. This high-impact role requires an expert in data strategy, applied analytics, and data storytelling—someone who can translate complex data into actionable insights that align with company-wide goals and drive measurable outcomes.

This leader will oversee customer-facing analytics products, deliver insights to internal teams, and develop innovative AI-powered capabilities that fuel growth and user engagement. You will shape and expand our analytics platform (SavvyMoney Analytics), build predictive models for marketing and engagement, and explore generative and agentic AI solutions for both internal enablement and customer value.

While the role demands strong product instincts and experience collaborating with engineering and data architecture teams, the core focus is on analytics excellence: interpreting, applying, and operationalizing data to move the business forward.

This is a high-profile role—you’ll be expected to communicate clearly and confidently with C-level executives, both internally and externally, including presentations to partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities -

Analytics Leadership & Strategy

  • Define and execute the vision for analytics across the company—connecting data insights to company OKRs and strategic objectives
  • Lead the development of dashboards, KPIs, benchmarks, and competitive intelligence tools for both internal teams and customer-facing solutions
  • Ensure the organization uses data as a strategic asset, embedding analytical thinking in key decision-making processes
  • Lead strategy and review sessions with our analytics customer advisory board consisting

Customer-Facing Data Product Ownership

  • Own and evolve SavvyMoney Analytics, our industry-leading analytics portal offering ROI metrics, visualizations, campaign insights, and benchmarking
  • Translate business and user needs into high-value data features, guiding a cross-functional team of analysts, scientists, and product owners
  • Collaborate with Product Management to prioritize and execute on multi-tenant, data-driven SaaS product initiatives

AI & Data Innovation

  • Lead initiatives in predictive modeling, segmentation, and next-best-action engines to personalize experiences and improve marketing outcomes
  • Integrate generative and agentic AI into analytics and user engagement workflows
  • Apply best practices for responsible, secure use of 1P/3P data for hyper-personalized insights and automation

Stakeholder Support & Cross-Functional Enablement

  • Deliver actionable insights and tools to internal teams including Sales, Revenue Ops, Partner Success, Finance, and Product
  • Support customer facing teams in how they apply data and analytics to uncover opportunities and prove product ROI.
  • Create scalable frameworks to manage and prioritize analytics requests, ensuring impact and clarity across teams

Collaboration with Engineering & Data Architecture

  • Partner with data engineering and architecture leads to align infrastructure with analytics vision and scalability needs
  • Influence data model design, ETL pipelines, and access strategies with a product-focused, analytical lens

Team Leadership & Communication

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of analysts, data scientists, and product owners
  • Foster a culture of data curiosity, fluency, experimentation, and cross-team collaboration
  • Confidently communicate complex analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-suite and board-level stakeholders

Qualifications -

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, with a proven track record of delivering business impact through data
  • Prior leadership experience in the financial services sector
  • Experience leading or closely collaborating with product teams to build and scale analytics-centric SaaS products
  • Deep understanding of modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Tableau, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Expertise in data storytelling and visualization—able to simplify complex insights for non-technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of ML/AI model development, operational deployment, and iterative improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to tie analytics strategy to company objectives, with measurable results
  • Hybrid work schedule: 3 days/week in-office at our Dublin, CA headquarters

Preferred

  • Prior leadership experience in fintech, credit data, or financial services sectors.
  • Experience with digital marketing, testing methodologies, tracking, and marketing attribution.
  • Experience with credit bureau data (e.g., credit files, scoring models, tradeline data), including associated compliance and privacy considerations.
  • Background in operationalizing AI/ML models in production environments.

Base salary

The annual base salary for this position is between $260,000 and $300,000 depending upon experience.
