ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

We are looking for a Senior Manager with experience and a passion for process, analytics and program management to join our team. This role oversees sales reporting & analysis, requirements and enhancements for our sales CRM / Order Management Systems, administration of sales quotas & sales compensation and tracking of our departmental initiatives. This role is focused on creating and managing a complete sets of data to deliver actionable insights focused on revenue growth and productivity. As well as identify and implement process improvements to increase workflow efficiency and where possible, initiate automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Manage and update sales assignments for current and prospective accounts
  • Build and update weekly sales reporting, including revenue bookings and pipeline
  • Present data and a point of view on trends to leadership
  • Update revenue forecasts vs. budget and comparisons to prior year pacing
  • Provide regular and ad hoc analysis of sales productivity metrics (close rates, past booking trends) to identify opportunities and focus areas

Sales Targets & Compensation Administration:

  • Work with sales management on goal setting and goal adjustments
  • Manage quarterly and annual compensation, including plan documents, monthly statements and calculation of final payments
  • Update relevant systems (SFDC, OP1 and others) to reflect most up to date assignments and categorizations

Sales Systems:

  • Implement leading best practices in CRM and Order management for data collection, reporting, account hierarchies, order and user records
  • Own and manage the roadmap and prioritization of system enhancements and bugs
  • Optimize workflow based on user feedback as well as new system feature releases
  • Work with internal teams to automate regular reports and dashboards
  • Provide hands on keys training for GMS users of new and existing features
  • Act as first line of support in assisting users to troubleshoot issues

Project Management :

  • Build out tracking templates for business initiatives
  • Facilitate inputs from key stakeholders
  • Lead regular meetings to gather status updates, identify blockers and needs

SUCCESSFUL SENIOR MANAGER, BUSINESS OPERATIONS CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in their work product
  • A proactive approach in analyzing the business and in follow through on requests
  • Experience and a sophisticated approach to organizing data into hierarchies and structures for usability and ease of reporting
  • Background processing sales compensation through several annual cycles
  • Maturity and clarity in the communication of sensitive information
  • Advanced excel skills, very comfortable handling and manipulating large data sets with ease and accuracy
  • Advanced working knowledge of CRM systems (SFDC) and Order Management (OperativeOne)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI) and AI to improve workflow and productivity.
  • Minimum 5+ year experience professional experience, 3+ in a Business Operations role handling compensation
