ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Benefit Administrator will be responsible for entry-level administration of our employee benefit programs within our company. Our benefit plans play a key role in employee satisfaction and retention. Strong ability to quickly gain understanding of our plan designs, regulations, HR systems, procedures, and regulations is preferred. This is an extremely important role, handling highly sensitive and confidential data. This role is a customer-facing position, interacting with our most important clients - our employees!

This will be a temporary assignment for 5 months up to 29 hours per week. As the Benefits Administrator, you will work closely alongside payroll, legal, and the people team and other key business partners and report to the Senior Manager of Benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will help oversee maintenance of employee benefit files and group benefits database
  • You will assist the benefits team in administering all benefit programs including but not limited to benefit communications, open enrollment initiatives, and other various efforts
  • You will assist the benefits team in managing and coordinating leave of absence requests across our US employee base
  • You will answer employee questions, resolve benefits-related issues and provide guidance on benefits queries
  • You will help give excellent customer service support to internal and external customers
  • You will help ensure accurate reconciliation of monthly carrier premiums & partner with the Finance team on timely payment

SUCCESSFUL BENEFIT ADMINISTRATOR CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • 1-3 years of experience working in a HR or benefits related role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements, such as COBRA, HIPAA & ERISAFamiliar with HRIS and benefits administration software (preferably Paylocity & Oracle)
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various departments and stakeholders to find solutions, increase productivity, efficiency and team success.
  • Specific job-related experience (eg. Human Resources experience, benefits experience)
  • Experience with open enrollment and benefits administration processes
  • Soft skills (eg. Excellent communicator, able to multitask, demonstrates a willingness to learn)
  • Ability to operate with confidentiality while having access to highly sensitive, private, and confidential dataAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

WORK MODEL:

This role is Together@TKWW-eligible and based near one of our office hubs. Starting September 15, 2025, you’ll be expected to work in the office two days a week as part of our hybrid work model.
