The People Operations Generalist role at TKWW will provide some operational support to People BPs, but with a renewed focus on process standardization, HR systems management, and data ownership. People Operations is responsible for setting the global standards, processes, and policies for all employee lifecycle changes, and the Generalist will play a key role in ensuring these processes are executed flawlessly across all regions. The People Operations Generalist will manage administrative tasks related to the employee lifecycle (such as onboarding, offboarding, promotions, merit adjustments, etc.), but with an increased emphasis on process alignment, systems management, and data integrity. As the "guardians of the data," People Operations is accountable for the accuracy and reliability of employee information, and you will help maintain this high standard by ensuring that all data and lifecycle changes are recorded and updated correctly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Employee Lifecycle Management:
Manage and execute the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, merit adjustments, and employee transfers. Ensure all changes are documented accurately in HR systems, in employee files, in documented employee memos, and aligned with company policies and local labor laws. - HR Systems Management & Data Integrity:
Oversee and maintain employee data within the HR systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, in collaboration with payroll). As a key member of the People Ops team, you will ensure that all employee lifecycle changes are accurately tracked and aligned with standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of employee data, making sure it is up-to-date and reflects changes accurately across systems. - Process Standardization & Execution:
Follow and execute standardized People Operations processes for all employee lifecycle events, ensuring compliance with global policies and local regulations. Support the continuous improvement of these processes to increase efficiency and streamline workflows. - Collaboration with Total Rewards:
Support the People Operations team in areas related to Total Rewards, including compensation and benefits. You may assist with administering benefits programs, ensuring accuracy in pay and benefit-related changes, and liaising with external vendors or partners for benefits enrollment and compensation adjustments. - Ad Hoc People Operations Support:
Provide general support to the broader People Operations function on various initiatives, including but not limited to compliance projects, mandatory compliance training, and other HR programs. - Regional & Global Partnership:
- Work closely with global People Ops teams to ensure processes and initiatives are aligned across regions. In the absence of a local HRBP or People Ops team, you will be relied upon to handle a broad range of employee needs and act as a key resource for your region.
- You will have the opportunity to partner with broader teams to provide additional support in areas such as Total Rewards (compensation and benefits), new hire orientation.
- You may be asked to provide local support for answering employee inquiries, providing guidance on company policies, benefits or other essential information, and acting as a liaison between employees and the global People teams.
- Experience:
3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist, or People Operations role, with strong experience supporting employee lifecycle management processes (onboarding, offboarding, promotions, etc.), HR systems management, and compliance. - HR Systems & Data Management:
Familiarity with HRIS systems and experience with data entry, system management, and reporting. Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data. - Process-Oriented Mindset:
Experience in implementing and executing standardized HR processes, with a focus on streamlining workflows and maintaining compliance with global and local policies. - Regional Expertise (where applicable):
Experience working in specific geographic regions with an understanding of local labor laws and HR practices. In regions where you are the sole People Ops representative, the ability to take ownership of various HR functions, including performance management and employee relations, will be critical. - Total Rewards Knowledge:
A basic understanding of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs is a plus, particularly in how these programs impact the employee lifecycle. - Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise between employees, People BPs, and other key stakeholders. Comfortable working across cultures and with diverse teams. - Adaptability & Problem-Solving:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You should be proactive, adaptable, and able to problem-solve as challenges arise. - Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail, especially when handling employee data, documentation, and system updates. - Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
