ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

Our Venue & Vendor Partnership Associate plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong partnerships with our network of venues & vendors. You will be responsible for ensuring managing recruitment and expansion, pursuing new services to add to the Simply Eloped service suite and providing operational support. This role is essential for maintaining a seamless and positive experience for both our internal teams and contractors.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Venue Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with venues by regularly assessing their satisfaction levels and swiftly addressing any concerns. Act as the primary contact for pricing, operations, and policies.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Actively recruit new venues / vendors and oversee their onboarding processes to ensure effective integration into our network.
  • Service & Product Expansion: Be the driver of finding new opportunities for service addition to the Simply Eloped suite and embark upon project management of expansion, onboarding and product integration of said services. This may include decor, picnics, caterers and similar type services.
  • Internal Teams Support: Ensure the Sales and CX teams have a clear understanding of each venue by frequently updating venue pages, helping to manage customer expectations.Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes.
  • Operation Assistance: Support the Operations Manager with various initiatives aimed at expanding services, including identifying new venues and market opportunities. Facilitate smooth communication regarding any required legal documents or insurance requirements.
  • Communication and Support: Ensure that all venue & vendor related information is readily available and accessible to relevant teams, promoting efficiency and informed decision-making.

SUCCESSFUL VENUE & VENDOR PARTNERSHIP ASSOCIATE CANDIDATES HAVE:

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage operations effectively
  • Must have strong sales background
  • Team-player with exceptional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in learning new technologies and systems quickly
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment with excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including grammar
  • Comfort in handling complex or challenging venue situations calmly and professionally
  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Google Docs) and ability to multitask
  • Must have self-motivation
  • 2-4 years experience in partnerships or project management

IT’S A BONUS IF:

  • You have a background in venue management or event planning.
  • You bring prior experience in customer service.
  • You have experience working in a cross-functional role.

WORK MODEL:

This role is fully remote and not tied to any specific office location. While there are no regular in-office requirements, we encourage our remote team members to gather intentionally for key company and team events to stay connected and engaged.
