ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
Regional People Partner (RPP) will champion our values and support the People functions across the region. In this role, you’ll partner with key stakeholders, including PBP Leads, Legal, Community, Talent Acquisition and People Operations (POPs), to execute talent strategies that align with both local and global goals.
As the Regional People Partner you will be an enabler to retention, engagement and development of our talent in the region, and help facilitate the health of the region. This will include owning employee relations issues in collaboration with legal, and People Business Partners, supporting the management of under performance with local leaders, helping facilitate people leader capability and employees initiatives such as training, and support your region for talent management initiatives, compensation conversations, employee relations and organizational transformation efforts. You will also be responsible for key employee life cycle touch-points such as engagement, retention, development, off-boarding including exit interviews and analysis. This role will be a contributor to help scale and deliver global programs such as our semi-annual performance review cycles, employee engagement activities, and local events and ad hoc projects. You’ll provide local expertise while collaborating with global teams to address geographic and cultural nuances, ensuring TKWW remains a top employer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Employee & Manager Relations & Local Policy
- Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, performance management (PIPs), terminations, and workplace issues.
- Partner with Legal & Labor relations to interpret and reinforce local labor policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance audits for regional policies and employee cases.
2. Talent Management & Development
- Lead regional talent reviews, adapting global talent strategies to fit local needs.
- Partner with PBP Leads to implement talent agendas, coaching frameworks, and performance management strategies.
- Provide facilitation support for TMD programming, manager training, and action planning based on Voice of Employee (VoE) insights.
3. Compensation & Rewards
- Support out-of-cycle adjustments.
- Collaborate with Total Rewards on local leveling
4. Organizational & Structural Support
- Drive organizational transformation efforts, including Reduction in Force (RIF) processes and change management initiatives.
- Provide operational support for Return to Office (RTO) initiatives and contribute to regional/global talent strategies.
5. Employee Lifecycle & Engagement
- Act as the local People Team representative, addressing manager and employee needs while properly re-routing inquiries to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Drive VoE action planning, employee engagement initiatives, and local employer branding to foster a positive employee experience.
- Strengthen people leader capability through customized regional and global training interventions.
6. People Team Shared Services Support
- Support global People programs, including performance review cycles, total reward processes, and learning & development initiatives.
- Serve as an extension of Learning & Development, helping to scale leadership and employee training programs.
7. Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyze people data to generate actionable insights, using reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making in the region.
- Establish SMART goals related to regional people processes, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Maintain data integrity and documentation standards for compliance, employee relations, and performance-related activities.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- 4+ years of experience as a People Partner or HR Generalist at a global tech/internet company, with a solid understanding of HR concepts, compliance
- Experience working with multi cultural teams and collaborators
- Proven experience conducting employee relations investigations, including case documentation, root cause analysis, and resolution planning
- Proven ability to build partnerships with people leaders and stakeholders, and experience influencing people and business priorities for a region or organization
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and systems thinking to help solve with consideration to global and local lenses applied
- Proven experience actively taking ownership and accountability to help drive or facilitate work either by doing the work, or engaging the right stakeholders as defined by roles and responsibilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with flexibility and strong ability to continuously prioritize.
- Fluency in Spanish would be a great advantage
