We’re building production GenAI features and looking for a software developer with strong engineering skills and a passion for building scalable AI systems. You’ll contribute to the delivery of GenAI features, collaborate closely with technical leads and play a key role in maintaining technical quality and scalability across a feature area.

Build and improve AI-enabled product features from prototype to production. You’ll work within an end-to-end engineering team that owns build quality, release readiness, and ongoing improvements.

🔧 What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain product features and supporting backend components (services, integrations, and internal workflows).
  • Write production-ready code and lightweight prototypes to validate ideas quickly.
  • Create automated tests and fix issues early to keep releases stable (we don’t rely on a separate QA team).
  • Support proof-of-concepts and experiments by setting up test cases, reviewing results, and improving areas where quality is weak.
  • Document how things work so others can run, maintain, and extend what you build.

🎯 GenAI competencies you’ll practice

  • Turn a business problem into a clear AI task and implement an end-to-end solution with guidance.
  • Prepare and maintain data and test cases used to measure output quality.
  • Use common AI application approaches (prompting, using internal knowledge sources, calling external tools/APIs) appropriately.
  • Measure quality with repeatable evaluation methods (automated checks and structured human review when needed).
  • Contribute to production readiness: versioning, monitoring, basic performance/cost awareness, and usage tracking.
  • Follow privacy, security, and compliance requirements with support from Legal/Security.

Required skills & knowledge

  • 2+ years in software engineering.
  • 1+ years building and shipping production software in product teams.
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design.
  • Hands-on coding in Python and/or TypeScript (or similar), APIs/services, data pipelines.
  • Cloud experience, CI/CD, automated testing, observability; engineers own quality without dedicated QA.
  • Experimentation mindset: define metrics, build evals, iterate quickly; willingness to learn GenAI rapidly

🧩 Nice to have

  • GenAI/LLM: prompt engineering, retrieval/RAG, function/tool-calling, evaluation pipelines, fine-tuning/LoRA, embeddings/vector search
  • LLMOps: experiment tracking, prompt/version control, cost/latency optimization;
  • Tools: serverless AWS, LangChain/LangGraph, OpenAI/Anthropic/Azure OpenAI; vector DBs (Pinecone/FAISS/Milvus)

🔨 How we work

  • We balance exploration with delivery: test ideas quickly, then productionize what works.
  • “Done” means quality goals are met; then we keep improving accuracy, cost, and performance.
  • The team owns systems end-to-end (build, release, reliability).

🗒️ Note:

  • This role requires employees to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. While we are open to candidates from outside the EST time zone, please be prepared to adjust your working hours to align with this time zone. Flexibility will be essential to ensure seamless collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
  • This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere. We embrace a results-driven work culture, focusing on performance and collaboration over location. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to build a work-life balance that suits you, while staying connected with a diverse, global team through virtual tools and regular online communication. Whether you're working from home, a co-working space, or another location of your choice, we’re committed to supporting you with the resources and autonomy needed to succeed in a remote environment.
