As a Product Trainer, you play a critical role in bringing that mission to life. You will partner directly with clients throughout onboarding, implementation, and adoption, helping them confidently leverage VBA's platform to achieve their business objectives. By translating product functionality into practical, real-world workflows, you will empower users to work more efficiently, embrace new processes, and maximize the value of their investment in VBA.
This is more than a software training role. You will serve as a trusted client partner and subject matter expert, helping organizations navigate change, accelerate adoption, and build long-term success with VBA's solutions. Your ability to connect healthcare operations with technology will directly influence client satisfaction, user engagement, and implementation success.

The assessment is designed to help us better understand how your strengths align with the requirements of the role. What are we looking for in this position?
- 3+ years of experience in TPA, health plan, benefits administration, or healthcare operations environments
- Strong understanding of healthcare administration workflows, including claims processing, benefit administration, and related operational functions
- 2+ years of experience delivering software or technology training to clients or end users
- Experience facilitating virtual and instructor-led training sessions
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience creating and maintaining training materials and documentation
- Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Demonstrated agility in live client training environments, including the ability to answer questions in real time, adapt explanations on the fly, and pivot delivery based on client needs and understanding.
- Ability and willingness to travel to VBA headquarters and to client sites as needed
What do we consider a plus?
- Experience training users on healthcare technology, claims administration systems, member portals, or analytics platforms
- Knowledge of VBA products and solutions
- Familiarity with SQL or data-related concepts
- Project management experience
- Experience working within SaaS implementation environments
What will you be doing?
Client Training & Education
- Deliver engaging virtual and in-person training sessions tailored to client business needs and user roles.
- Facilitate instructor-led training for administrators, operational users, and client stakeholders.
- Translate complex product functionality into clear, practical workflows and business use cases.
- Adapt training approaches to varying learning styles and audience experience levels.
Client Onboarding & Implementation Support
- Partner with clients during onboarding and implementation activities.
- Review implementation assessments and understand client workflows, operational processes, and business objectives.
- Support knowledge transfer efforts that prepare clients for successful go-live activities.
- Participate in implementation meetings and client status discussions as needed.
Training Program Development
- Develop, maintain, and enhance training materials, guides, recordings, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate training schedules aligned with implementation milestones and go-live timelines.
- Record and organize training content for future client and internal use.
Product Adoption & Continuous Improvement
- Assess training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improved client learning outcomes.
- Gather client feedback and recommend enhancements to training programs, documentation, and product usability.
- Stay current on product enhancements and continuously expand product expertise.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Implementation, Functional Architecture, Product, and Data Integration teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Act as a subject matter expert on product functionality and client workflows.
- Support organizational knowledge-sharing initiatives and internal training efforts.

- Continuously improve training content, learning resources, and delivery methods
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource and advocate for both clients and internal teams
- Support VBA's mission by helping clients improve operational efficiency and deliver better healthcare experiences

Travel: Up to 25% travel
