Data Analyst; Product Analytics Engineer
Location: Austin, TX.
WIN Reality has an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to join our growing Team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end projects consisting of analytics engineering, business intelligence, and analytics components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the data architecture and drive business insights.
- Make a direct impact on the Product and User Experience by providing data-backed recommendations to leadership
- Create and maintain documentation for data processes, models, and pipelines.
- Perform data cleansing and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategy by presenting findings in a clear, concise manner, making complex data understandable for non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support ad-hoc data requests and conduct deep-dives into specific areas of business interest.
- Help maintain and improve data management systems and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in analytics, engineering or related field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Candidates with non-traditional backgrounds but strong relevant experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in designing and optimizing complex queries and performing data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Experience working with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and implementing them in Python and/or R.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and best practices in data management.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts such as regressions, time series, Bayesian methods, clustering, etc., to analyze data and provide insights
- Experience with machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, clustering, decision trees).
