Job Title: API Developer-Trainee

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer with 4–5 years of experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance APIs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solving technical challenges independently during night hours.

The role consists of:

1. Primary Responsibility: Handling, analyzing, and resolving API-related technical support tickets.

2. Secondary Responsibility: Contributing to backend/API development projects.

Key Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot and resolve API technical queries, ensuring timely and accurate support during night shift.

· Design, develop, and optimize high-performance APIs using .NET 8.

· Diagnose and mitigate race conditions, deadlocks, and concurrency issues.

· Implement API authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect).

· Optimize API performance through caching, load balancing, and asynchronous processing.

· Maintain documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI specifications.

· Implement techniques to enhance API throughput, latency, caching, and overall system performance.

· Work with AWS infrastructure to deploy, monitor, and optimize backend services.

· Develop and maintain data access layers using Entity Framework Core and integrate with Identity Providers (IDP).

· Create and maintain efficient SQL Server stored procedures, queries, and indexing strategies.

· Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis).

· Experience on the Docker services along with Kubernities

· Knowledge on the messaging queues like Kafka

· Use and configure MCP Server for API integration and related functionalities.

· (Optional) Contribute to UI development using React.js where necessary.

· Utilize AI tools for code generation, optimization, testing assistance, and productivity improvements.

· Maintain technical documentation, follow best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams when required.

Required Technical Skills

· Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8 and RESTful API design.

· Advanced understanding of asynchronous programming, multi-threading, race conditions, and concurrency control.

· Proven experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs.

· Proficiency with AWS services (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, CloudWatch).

· Strong SQL Server skills — query tuning, indexing, triggers, stored procedures.

· Experience with Entity Framework Core and IDP integrations (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, etc.).

· Working knowledge of MCP Server for API handling and configurations.

· Familiarity with React.js (optional bonus).

· Ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code copilots, code analyzers, automation tools).

· Added Advantage: Strong foundational or advanced knowledge of AI technologies, including model integration, prompt engineering, or AI-driven automation.
