THIS IS A FIXED-TERM POSITION FOR 6 MONTHS

The Role

As a project manager, you will be responsible for leading teams in defining and executing projects that impact our company's objectives. This individual will play a key role in helping to define best practices for the PMO and collaboration for the larger EPD organization. We are seeking strong candidates to help strengthen, mature, and sustain the momentum we’ve achieved thus far as we continue to embark on our transformation.

What You’ll Do

  • Actively manage multiple medium-sized and large-scale projects of varying complexity from beginning to end
  • Coordinate vendor ecosystems, leading regular vendor syncs while holding external partners accountable for deliverables and maintaining strategic relationships
  • Take program and portfolio roadmaps and break down the work into actionable workstreams and deliverables
  • Support capacity management and planning
  • Support operations by function
  • Be a change agent and lead transformation management efforts
  • Facilitate planning, prioritization, and tradeoff discussions
  • Succinctly communicate to the engineer and product managers, directors, and non-technical business stakeholders about project milestones, issues, risks, and decisions needed
  • Develop strong partnerships across cross-functional teams and create project artifacts (plans, reports, decks, process maps, dashboards, etc.)
  • Lead vendor and contract management across multi-vendor ecosystems, coordinating regular syncs, negotiating timeline adjustments and contractual implications, while balancing relationship preservation with firm accountability for deliverables
  • Make data-driven decisions on timeline adjustments based on external dependencies, resource constraints, and quality metrics
  • Define short-term strategies for the function and Biz & Strategy Operations Department

Who You Are

  • 3 - 5 years of project/program management experience working with Agile and Predictive methodologies, preferably in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • High tolerance for ambiguity with the ability to quickly define and execute cross-functional plans and actions with measurable impact
  • Meticulous attention to accuracy with a rigorous verification approach - you challenge assumptions, fact-check against documentation, and prefer evidence-based communication over speculation
  • Strong data integrity mindset with systematic documentation practices
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills, enabling you to deliver solid business solutions
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior management leaders and executives to confidently address challenges, handle push-back, and maintain a proactive team-centric approach
  • Skilled at prioritizing and balancing multiple projects
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics, proven ability to influence stakeholders with functional and global reach
  • Experience coordinating multi-vendor ecosystems and managing external partner relationships
  • Proven ability to hold vendors accountable diplomatically while preserving strategic partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a fully virtual environment, successfully building strong relationships remotely
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Adaptive communicator who adjusts style and format based on audience needs (narrative prose for leadership, structured technical formats for engineering, diplomatic firmness for vendors)
  • Skilled at distilling complex technical information into executive-level summaries without sacrificing accuracy
  • The ideal candidate has a passion for driving change and motivating teams through results-driven approaches to solving problems
  • Must be able to interpret and create workflow and process diagrams
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Confluence, Miro, Asana, and Jira

Bonus Points

  • PMP preferred
  • Experience defining best practices for business operations / PMO
  • Startup experience
  • Certified scrum master (nice to have)
