Role: Technical Product Manager
Hybrid - 3 Days in Office, Dublin 2.
About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to join our Engineering organisation at an exciting stage of platform growth. This is a high-impact Senior Individual Contributor role for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology, comfortable in a room with senior stakeholders one moment and deep in a technical design review the next.
You will be the connective tissue between our Business, Engineering and Data teams, owning the translation of complex business needs into clearly defined, deliverable engineering outcomes. You'll bring rigour to how we gather requirements, structure our backlog and manage delivery, while keeping our technical strategy and roadmap aligned to company vision.
This role suits someone who is highly motivated, self-driven and naturally curious, someone who doesn't wait to be handed a process but builds one where it's needed.
What You'll Do
Planning & Alignment
- Ensure the Company Vision, technical strategy, roadmap and engineering deliverables are aligned across Business, Engineering and Data teams
- Produce Technical Product documents including requirements, specifications and product designs as the platform grows, and lead the review with engineering and architecture to ensure alignment before delivery
Delivery & Execution
- Own requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders, elaborating these requirements and translating ambiguous needs into clearly defined engineering deliverables
- Own the backlog and act as the primary point of contact between business units, Product Owners, Engineering Teams and the data team, managing expectations, scoping requests, flagging risks and blockers swiftly and ensuring we prioritise the work to deliver on the roadmap commitments
- Run the daily Scrums and Sprint planning ensuring priorities are aligned and delivery commitments are confirmed by Product Owners and Engineering teams
- Identify risks to product development and adoption and define mitigation plans for the Sprint cycles to avoid scope creep and mid sprint changes
Performance & Improvement
- Delivery and Performance Management: Continuously track product performance, operational metrics and stakeholder feedback to improve the engineering deliverables
- Data Driven on our decisions to optimize feature velocity, backlog and roadmap prioritization
- Proactively identify reporting and process gaps and surface opportunities to improve data visibility across the organization
What We're Looking For
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Technical Product Manager role, embedded within an Engineering team with hands on experience across technical strategy, requirements gathering, agile delivery and stakeholder management
- Solid understanding of engineering technologies including cloud platforms, microservices and API design and their application in Big Data environments, with the ability to engage in technical design discussions and communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Proven experience leading agile delivery including sprint planning, backlog management and scrum ceremonies, with familiarity of modern software deployment practices
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to gather and document business and product requirements independently, from initial discovery through to sign-off, and ensure delivery is continuously tracked and measured against those requirements
Desirable
- Experience working in a lean or scaling organisation where structure and process has had to be built, not inherited
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor without a large support structure around you

Work Location Assignment:
Flexible/Hybrid - three days in the office in Dublin D2
